I’ve been on the diet 9 days and yep, I’m losing weight. I actually started losing as soon as I decided to get back on track, before I even ordered my food. Funny how mindset is a big part of staying motivated. Since I decided to go back on the Take Shape for Life program I have lost:
Crazy right? It’s been about 3 weeks since that day!
Now, I am well aware that the biggest weight loss occurs in the first 30 days. After that your body adjusts and you level out to 1 or 2 lbs per week. Even if that starts today, in 6 months I may have lost around 65 lbs!
And the food is even better than before! In 2009 there were a number of the products that I didn’t really care for. Just something about them. This time, they have made significant improvements. The biggest thing for me is the complete removal of aspartame. They moved to other, more natural sweeteners, which is a wonderful thing. But they also have a lot of new foods that are just yummy!
And that’s what I think – what I hope – will help me stay on the program. I learned a lot about myself last time. I know some things to watch out for. It’s time to start taking care of myself.
